For selling agents

Your rolodex, amplified — not given away.

Bidline turns the off-market phone chain into a structured, audited bid round. Suburb-level listings only. You decide who sees the deal, what they see of each other, and when the round closes. No portal scraping, no public address, no losing control of your own network.

The current workflow

The phone chain works — until someone asks you to prove it did.

Australia transacts roughly A$80 billion a year off market, and most of it moves through informal phone and message chains. Sixty buyer's agents rung one at a time. Offers relayed verbally, amended verbally, sometimes lost entirely. When the vendor asks how their campaign was run — or a regulator asks about price guidance — there is no record to point to.

  • No timestamped record of who was offered the property, when, or what they bid.
  • No proof of fair process if an underbidder, vendor, or regulator disputes the outcome.
  • Underquoting exposure: verbal price guidance with no versioned, displayed disclosure behind it.
  • Unqualified buyers waste your weekends — nobody has checked their finance before they raise a hand.

Bidline keeps the deal private and makes the process defensible. Same network, same discretion — with a record underneath it.

Agent-composable rounds

Every lever stays in your hands.

A Bidline round is not an auction template. You compose it — per listing, per vendor — and every setting is logged to the audit chain.

Audience

Verified buyers, buyer's agents under mandate, or both. Registered browsers can watch and express interest; only finance-verified buyers can bid.

Format

Open / Live Bidding with anti-snipe, Sealed / Tender with optional best-and-final, Contact agent with no bid round, or EOI for development sites with longer, doc-heavy windows.

Visibility

Bidder count on or off. Amounts hidden, leading-only, or full ladder. Own-rank on or off. Optional public leading bid. Or pick a preset: Full, Leading-only, Count-only, Sealed.

Reserve

Set and hold a confidential reserve. Bidders never see it; the audit chain records it, so your price discipline is provable later.

Increment

Minimum bid increments you choose, enforced by the platform — no A$500 nibbling at the close of a seven-figure round.

Window

Open and close times you set, with dynamic close on live rounds so a last-second bid extends the clock instead of stealing the result.

Round control

One panel. The whole round.

Configure the round in minutes, then watch it run. Bidline sends a push notification when a bid lands on one of your rounds, and installs as an app on your phone so it has somewhere to send it — a 9.42pm bid is on the round at 9.42pm.

Bidders appear as masked paddles. You see their finance tier band and verification expiry — never their lender, never their exact approval amount. Real identity is revealed to you only when you accept a bid.

Demand signals

Know the depth of the market before you open the round.

Registered users can watch a listing and express interest before bidding opens. You see those signals as aggregate counts — clean evidence of demand you can put in front of a vendor, without exposing anyone's identity.

  • Watch and express-interest counts update in real time on every listing.
  • Qualified-bidder counts show how many finance-verified buyers can actually bid — not just browse.
  • Buyer's-agent briefs match against your listing automatically, surfacing mandated buyers you would never have rung.

The compliance shield

Every round closes with proof, not memory.

Off-market does not have to mean off-record. Every bid is written into a tamper-evident hash chain and every round event is logged beside it, so the answer to “show me how this sale was run” is a document, not a recollection.

Tamper-evident bid chain

Every bid is written into a SHA-256 hash chain, each one bound to the bid before it. Alter an entry and every hash after it stops matching. Setting changes and disclosure events are logged in the round's audit record alongside the chain. Retained to meet Australian record-keeping obligations.

Per-round integrity pack

One export per round: the full bid history, visibility settings, reserve, and timestamps — ready for a vendor debrief, a dispute, or a regulator.

Price-guide discipline

Your reserve, guidance, and round settings are recorded as set. If price conduct is ever questioned, the record shows exactly what was communicated and when.

Displayed-disclosure versioning

The platform records which version of every disclosure each participant actually saw at the moment they acted. Not what the file says today — what they saw then.

Winning the listing

How you put Bidline in front of a vendor.

Most vendors choose off-market for privacy and end up with anxiety: did anyone actually compete for my home? Bidline lets you offer both halves of the bargain.

01

Private, by construction

Suburb-level address only. Photos and video behind a registration wall. The street address is revealed to one person: the buyer whose bid you accept.

02

Disciplined, by construction

Every bidder is finance-verified before they can bid. Bids are immutable and carry terms — settlement days, deposit, conditions — so the vendor compares whole offers, not just numbers.

03

Provable, by construction

At the end of the round you hand the vendor the integrity pack: who competed (as paddles), what they bid, when, under what rules. Quiet sale, audited process.

“We sell it quietly — and I can show you exactly how the price was reached.” That is a listing presentation no phone chain can match.
