A warm kitchen bench at dusk: laptop open on a property listing, pre-approval letter beside it.

For pre-approved buyers

Bid directly on off-market property. No buyer's-agent fee required.

Off-market homes used to move through agent phone chains you were never on. Bidline puts those properties in a private marketplace — anywhere in Australia — where a verified pre-approval is your ticket to bid alongside the professionals, on the same terms, under the same audited rules.

The access ladder

Three steps from browsing to bidding.

Bidline is login-walled by design — that is what keeps it private. Each step up the ladder unlocks more, and you climb at your own pace.

    Verified Buyer

    Approved pre-approval

    • Place bids in every format the agent opens to you
    • Gated documents: lease, rates, strata, planning, DA
    • A banded finance tier that does your credibility talking

Finance verification

One letter. One review. One tier.

Upload your mortgage pre-approval letter. A Bidline admin — a person, not a scraper — checks that it is current, in your name, and from a legitimate lender. You then receive a banded finance tier with an expiry date matched to your letter.

What agents see: your tier band and its expiry date. That is the entire disclosure.

What agents never see: your lender, your exact approval amount, or the letter itself. The band proves you are qualified without handing the selling side your negotiating position.

Expiry and renewal: when your pre-approval lapses, bidding pauses until you upload a renewed letter and we re-verify. Expired verification cannot bid — that protects every round you are in, including yours.

Push notification, 19:04 — You have been outbid. Leading bid is now A$1,512,000.

What you see depends on the visibility the agent sets for the round — from a full ladder down to sealed bids.

The bidding experience

A bid is a number, terms, and a timestamp — permanently.

  • Bids are immutable: once placed, they cannot be edited or quietly deleted — by you or anyone else. The ladder you see is the ladder that happened.
  • Every bid carries terms: settlement days, deposit percentage, conditions. A sharp settlement can beat a slightly higher price.
  • You bid as a paddle number. Other bidders never learn who you are; the agent learns your identity only if your bid is accepted.
  • Bidline sends outbid and closing-soon alerts, and installs as an app so it can send them to your phone rather than only to your inbox.

Four round formats — live bidding with anti-snipe, sealed tenders, rolling offer inboxes, and EOI rounds — all run under the same audited rules. See how a round runs.

Fairness and protection

Built so neither side can be played.

Address privacy cuts both ways

Listings show suburb-level locations only. The full street address is revealed to one person — the buyer whose bid is accepted. Vendors stay private; you are never marketed a home that was quietly shown to everyone else first.

Bids are non-binding

A Bidline bid is a serious, recorded statement of intent — not a signed contract. Contract exchange happens off platform with your conveyancer or solicitor, and any cooling-off rights live in that contract, exactly as they would in any private sale.

Your money never touches Bidline

Deposits and settlement funds flow through the usual trust and conveyancing channels. If anyone asks you to send purchase money through Bidline, it is a scam — report it to us immediately.

Every round is auditable

Bids sit on a tamper-evident hash-chained log retained to meet Australian record-keeping obligations. If you ever doubt a result, a per-round integrity pack exists for dispute review. Read more on the trust page.

What happens to my pre-approval letter?+

It is encrypted at rest and visible only to the Bidline admins who review your verification. Agents and other bidders never see it. Records are retained to meet Australian record-keeping obligations, and you can raise privacy requests with us at any time.

Do I need a buyer's agent to use Bidline?+

No. Verified buyers bid directly with no representation fee. If you prefer to be represented, buyer's agents use Bidline too — under verified mandates that keep your identity sealed from the selling side.

Pricing

Free for buyers. Not free-trial free — free.

Consumer buyers pay nothing to register, verify, watch, or bid. Agents fund the platform. For comparison: a buyer's agent on a A$1.2 million purchase typically charges A$18,000–36,000. Bidding directly costs A$0.
