Legal · Draft pending lawyer review

Pre-approved buyer agreement

Version: v0.1-draft · Effective: pending lawyer sign-off

1. Scope

This draft applies to pre-approved buyers who use Bidline without appointing a buyer's agent. It explains how buyer eligibility, verified bid caps, and buyer conduct work during launch.

2. Account and eligibility

You must provide accurate identity details and a current mortgage pre-approval or equivalent finance evidence. Bidline may approve, deny, pause, or re-check your access if the evidence is incomplete, expired, or inconsistent.

3. Bidding and offer responsibilities

You are responsible for every bid, offer, message, and instruction submitted through your account. Bidline may enforce a bid cap based on your verified finance amount, but you remain responsible for seeking financial, legal, building, pest, and conveyancing advice.

4. No buyer agency or financial advice

Bidline is not your buyer's agent, mortgage broker, lawyer, financial adviser, or conveyancer. We provide workflow, verification, and audit tools. We do not recommend whether you should buy a property or how much you should offer.

5. Fees and settlement

Bidline does not collect deposits or settlement funds. Any purchase, cooling-off period, contract exchange, deposit, and settlement steps happen off-platform through the usual legal and conveyancing process.

6. Documents and retention

Pre-approval documents are used for verification and bid-cap controls. We store them with restricted access and retain them only as needed for verification, audit, legal, and compliance obligations described in the privacy policy.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove buyer access for expired finance evidence, attempted overbidding, misleading conduct, abusive messaging, suspected account compromise, or breach of Bidline terms.

8. Contact

This is a staging draft. Final lawyer-signed buyer terms will be published on this page before public launch, with a revised effective date, and Bidline sends notice of a material change to the email address on your account.
